FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What does GBS Trend Inc. do?

GBS Trend Inc. is a full-service apparel manufacturer specializing in private label production. We offer flexible MOQs, fast sampling, and ethical manufacturing with operations based in Turkey and a local presence in Los Angeles, USA.

2. Where are your products made?

Our production takes place in Istanbul, Turkey, with fabrics produced in our in-house knitting mill. This allows full customization of fabric construction, composition, weight, and finishing (hand-feel). We also operate a client support office in Los Angeles for sampling, logistics, and communication.

3. What types of products do you manufacture?

We manufacture a wide range of apparel, including t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, pants, activewear, and denim products. Both knit and woven garments are supported, and we deliver everything as full-package — including customized woven labels, hangtags, care labels, polybags, and packaging.

4. Do you offer custom designs and private labeling?

Yes. We specialize in private label manufacturing and can develop custom garments based on your design brief, tech pack, or physical references. All trims and branding elements (labels, tags, packaging) are also customizable.

5. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our MOQs are:

  • 200–300 pieces per style for cut & sew knits
  • 500 pieces per style for denim and woven items

Quantities may vary based on design complexity and fabric selection.

6. Can you assist with fabric sourcing and development?

Yes. We produce our fabrics in-house, which enables us to customize everything from yarn composition and construction to weight, softness, and surface treatments. This gives your brand a unique textile identity.

7. How does the sampling process work?

Customers can send tech packs or physical samples. Some provide multiple references — one for fabric, one for embroidery/print, one for fit — and we combine them into a new product.
Sampling typically takes 7–14 business days, and we charge 2x to 3x the bulk price (depending on fabric and complexity) plus shipping. If the exact fabric is unavailable during sampling, we use the closest available match in a similar color.

8. What is your production lead time?

Production lead time is generally 6–8 weeks, depending on the fabric development process and the complexity of the design.

9. Do you offer sustainable or recycled fabrics?

Yes. We offer sustainable production using GOTS-certified organic cotton and GRS-certified recycled materials. Sustainability and responsible sourcing are integral to our manufacturing philosophy.

10. What are your payment terms?

We require a 50% deposit upfront, and the remaining 50% payment is due before shipmentbut only after the customer approves the TOP (Top of Production) sample. This approach ensures a risk-free and transparent experience for our partners.

11. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we offer both FOB (Free on Board) and DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping:

  • FOB means the buyer arranges and pays for international shipping after goods leave our port.
  • DDP means we handle the full delivery process, including freight, customs, duties, and last-mile delivery — so the buyer receives goods at their door with no additional hassle.

12. Can we visit your production facilities?

Yes. Clients are welcome to visit our production headquarters in Istanbul or meet us by appointment at our Los Angeles office or during trade shows like Texworld.

13. How do I get started with a project?

Please email info@gbstrend.com with your tech pack, mood board, or sample references. Our team will guide you through fabric development, costing, sampling, and production with a dedicated project manager.
